Spanish Omelette

My girlfriend told me the story behind it. I am originally from Barcelona, and I really hope you guys enjoy this recipe. Best of luck!

  • 1 lb potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 5 oz olive oil
  • 6 eggs
  • Salt and pepper
  • Add All Ingredients


Step 1
Peel the potatoes and the onion.

Step 2
Cut the potatoes in slices.

Step 3
Chop the onions into small pieces.

Step 4
Heat the oil in a frying pan.

Step 5
Put the onions and potatoes in the frying pan (stirring occasionally without breaking the potatoes).

Step 6
Once the potatoes and onions are starting to get brown, beat the eggs and then place them in.

Step 7
When it appears to be about done, put a plate on top of the frying pan and invert it (watch a YouTube video on how to do this and be careful not to burn yourself!).
