Super Strawberry Smoothie
Bob is my 5-year-old with cystic fibrosis who likes strawberry yogurt smoothies. All the pre-packaged smoothies that are sold at our grocery store are the low-fat variety. When he drinks those he gets full too quickly without consuming a significant number of calories. Since Bob was 1 year old, everyday he would drink at least 16 ounces of whole milk mixed with 8 scoops of toddler formula. I decided to apply the same principle to make a yummy yogurt smoothie full of calories, fat, and vitamins. Now that he is in school, it is an easy addition to his breakfast routine. We make a batch on Sunday and pour him a glass each morning with his breakfast.

- 32 oz plain whole milk yogurt
- 16 oz frozen strawberries
- 1 c sugar
- 1 c whole milk
- 36.8 g infant formula powder (plain toddler formula)

Step 1
Combine all ingredients into a blender and blend until well combined (approximately 4 minutes).
