Quick and Easy Nutty Chocolate Delight

Our two-year-old, Henry, has CF and as an active toddler it’s been a challenge to gain weight. I am always looking for low-volume, calorie-dense food choices for him. I knew a toddler version of a peanut butter sandwich would be the answer. Unfortunately, my kids have peanut allergies, so that was out of the question and nut butters were too sticky for Henry to eat. So, I started mixing our nut butters with chocolate spreads trying to make them less sticky to eat. After several attempts, I realized the 3 to 1 ratio of nut butter to hazelnut spread makes the mixture not sticky. Since 18 months old, Henry loves to eat this Quick and Easy Nutty Chocolate Delight with a spoon with a tall glass of milk before bedtime every night!
