Homestyle Guacamole

This is a family recipe and a favorite at our get-togethers. I was inspired to submit this recipe by my cousin Kristy Miller, who has battled this disease her whole life and is someone I love and admire.

Ingredients

  • 3 Avocados
  • 1/4 c Cilantro
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 Lime
  • 1/2 Jalapeno (no seeds)
  • 2 Tbsp Sour Cream
  • 1/4 c Tomato
  • 1/10 c Onion (chopped) (optional)
  • Add All Ingredients

Instructions

Step 1
Chop onion (optional), tomato, cilantro and jalapeno (remove seeds).

Step 2
Mash avocado in a bowl.

Step 3
Add sour cream and chopped ingredients to avocado; mix.

Step 4
Squeeze 1 tbsp of lime juice and 1/2 tsp of salt; increase either ingredient to taste.
